Digital Agency for Arapgir, Malatya
Diaspora-focused e-commerce, heritage branding and association websites for Arapgir.
Arapgir lies in northeastern Malatya near the Euphrates, bordering Sivas, Erzincan and Elazığ provinces. The present town dates from the mid-19th century; the old town nearby, now called Eskişehir, holds castle ruins, Seljuk mosques and an old cemetery. Arapgir was long known for its grapes and mulberries, and in the 19th century for a busy weaving industry producing a cloth called Manusa.
Because the district’s population has fallen sharply in recent decades, many customers for Arapgir products now live elsewhere. We help producers reach them with simple order pages, WhatsApp ordering and, later, full online stores. For weaving workshops we build honest heritage brands; for guesthouses and guides we create clear pages and map listings; and for hometown associations we build easy-to-manage websites.
Racoun has been based in Istanbul Ataşehir since 2012. We have no office in Arapgir and work online with planned visits for shoots.
