We build multi-vendor marketplaces with a seller panel, commission, accruals and a compliant payout flow.

Don’t sell — run the sellers.

Marketplace Build — what is it?

A multi-vendor marketplace is an e-commerce model where multiple sellers list products, orders are taken through the platform and the platform earns a commission.

What is a multi-vendor marketplace?

A multi-vendor marketplace is an e-commerce model where several sellers list their own products, the order is taken through the platform and the platform earns a commission — the way Trendyol or Hepsiburada work. What separates it from a single-seller store is not the code but the operation: you have to manage sellers, commission, payouts and disputes.

The main parts of what we build

Seller side

  • Application and approval: seller onboarding with tax, signature and IBAN verification
  • Seller panel: product entry, stock, pricing, orders, shipping and payout screens
  • Product approval queue: content and image review before anything goes live
  • Contracts and commission: category-level commission rates and campaign participation rules
  • Performance: seller score, dispatch time, cancellation and return rate tracking

Buyer side

  • A shared catalogue, variant matching and an “other sellers of this product” flow
  • Faceted search, category architecture and recommendation blocks
  • One cart, many sellers: the order splits per seller
  • Reviews, Q&A and buyer-to-seller messaging

How money moves

On a marketplace, money goes from buyer to platform and then to seller. In Turkey you cannot hold that flow yourself; we use a licensed payment institution's marketplace / sub-merchant product, so collection, commission deduction, accrual and payout all stay compliant.

  • Sub-merchant registration and seller verification
  • Commission deduction and payout accounting
  • Payout schedule, hold period and clawback on refunds
  • Commission invoices to sellers and the e-invoice flow

Logistics and returns

  • Negotiated carrier rates and automatic shipping codes issued to sellers
  • Returns and exchanges started from the platform and routed to the seller
  • A dispute flow with clear rules on who gets paid, and when

Where do marketplaces struggle most?

Less with the technology than with catalogue discipline and seller quality. If five sellers upload the same product under five different names, search collapses. So from day one we set product matching rules, a mandatory attribute set and an approval queue — we prioritise a clean catalogue over seller count.

Where we start

We do not write code before the category and commission model, the plan for winning the first 20–50 sellers, and the choice of payment institution are settled. Those three decide a marketplace's first year.

Scope

What we do

01

Seller panel

A complete seller interface: products, stock, pricing, orders, shipping and payouts.

02

Commission model

Category-level rates, campaign participation rules and automatic deduction.

03

Accruals and payouts

Compliant payouts via a licensed payment institution’s sub-merchant product.

04

Approval queue

Content and image review that keeps the catalogue clean from day one.

05

One cart, many sellers

Orders split per seller, with shipping and returns handled separately.

06

Seller performance

Scores, dispatch times, cancellation and return rates surface bad sellers early.

07

Dispute flow

Who gets paid and when, bound to a written rule.

08

Shared catalogue

Variant matching and an “other sellers of this product” flow.

Process

How we move

01

Model design

Categories, commission, the seller acquisition plan and payment institution are settled.

02

Catalogue architecture

Mandatory attributes, matching rules and the approval queue are put in place.

03

Platform build

Seller panel, buyer interface, order splitting and accruals are built.

04

Payments & logistics

Sub-merchant setup, payouts, shipping and returns go live.

05

Pilot & launch

A pilot runs with the first sellers; launch follows once issues are closed.
