E-Commerce Store — what is it?

Product architecture, payment and shipping integrations, a fast checkout flow and measurement set up from day one.

What does an e-commerce build involve?

An e-commerce build means preparing the online sales infrastructure: catalogue architecture, cart and checkout flow, shipping and accounting integrations, and conversion measurement, all set up together. What decides a store's success is less the design than how little friction the flow has.

Which platform do you use?

Every store is built on our own in-house e-commerce platform; we do not use rented SaaS packages or off-the-shelf systems. No monthly licence and no platform limits — when you need B2B pricing, ERP integration or a sales flow of your own, we extend the platform to fit your business.

Scope of the build

  • Catalogue architecture: category structure, variant model, attributes and filters
  • Interface: listing, product detail, cart and checkout steps
  • Product migration: bulk import via XML/Excel, including images
  • Payments: gateway and bank POS connections, instalment tables, transfer and cash on delivery
  • Logistics: carriers, shipping cost rules and tracking
  • Measurement: GA4 e-commerce events, Meta and Google conversion setup

How do you reduce checkout drop-off?

On the way from cart to payment, every extra field and every extra page costs orders. Guest checkout, single-page payment, shipping cost visible from the start, and error messages people can actually understand are the four that move the needle most. After launch we measure these steps and report back with improvements.

What comes next?

Once the store is standing, growth follows: marketplace integrations multiply your sales channels, a B2B dealer system opens the wholesale side, and e-commerce SEO grows organic traffic.

Getting an e-commerce site built: step by step

  1. Discovery: product structure, sales channels, payment and shipping preferences, and your accounting/ERP software.
  2. Scope plan: the modules and integrations needed on our platform, presented in writing with cost and timing.
  3. Design: home, category, product, basket and checkout designed for your brand.
  4. Build and integrations: product import, payment gateways, shipping, e-invoicing and accounting links.
  5. Testing and launch: payment, refund and order scenarios are tested and analytics verified before go-live.

A typical build takes 5–10 weeks. Cost depends on the modules required, catalogue size, design depth, the number of integrations and extra modules such as B2B pricing or multiple languages, so we quote line by line after a first call.
