What is domestic remote desktop access?
It is a secure remote access service that lets employees, IT support staff and authorised vendors connect to company computers and servers, while connection management, session logs and identity data stay on infrastructure located in Turkey. Pedante Bilişim, Racoun’s technology unit, delivers it under its security brand Racurity, through our solution partners and with a single point of contact.
Why it matters
Remote desktop ports exposed to the internet, shared passwords and VPN accounts with broad network access are common starting points for ransomware incidents. Our approach closes those doors while keeping remote work flexible.
What is included
- No open ports: target devices connect outbound to a relay in Turkey; sessions are encrypted with current transport layer security (TLS) protocols.
- MFA and directory integration: users sign in with their corporate identity; disabling an account ends remote access too.
- Role-based access: who can reach which device, when and with which rights is defined individually.
- Session recording and audit trail: critical and vendor sessions can be recorded and logs forwarded to security monitoring.
- File transfer and clipboard policies: controlled per role to reduce data leakage.
How we work
We map current access methods, build an access matrix, deploy and pilot with a small group, roll out to everyone and then close legacy ports and unmanaged tools. Existing VPNs can run in parallel during the transition. Because identity, network, endpoint security and monitoring sit under one roof, remote access becomes part of a coherent Zero Trust design rather than a standalone tool.
