E-Commerce for Gift Shops and Personalised Gifts

Gift shopping is emotional and time-pressured. Customers usually buy for someone else, are unsure what to choose and must meet a date. Racoun, an Istanbul agency active since 2012, designs gift e-commerce as a gift-finding journey rather than a product list.
Structure
We organise products along three axes: product type, recipient (mother, partner, teacher, colleague) and occasion (birthday, new home, graduation). Permanent landing pages for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Teachers’ Day and New Year are refreshed each year at the same address, keeping their search strength.

Compliance
Under Turkish distance-selling rules, goods made to the customer’s specifications are among the exceptions to the right of withdrawal, which must be stated clearly. Uploaded photos require KVKK-compliant notices, and campaign messages need consent registered with İYS.

Real-scale photos, material and printing details, character limits for personalisation and preparation time help buyers judge quality they cannot touch. A fast, guest-friendly mobile checkout keeps last-minute shoppers.
Marketing and process
Unboxing and personalisation videos perform well on social media, while catalogue ads and reminders before special days bring back undecided shoppers. Everything is coded on our own platform with no rented themes and no monthly licence. Setup typically takes 5–10 weeks, and the first meeting is free.

Can customers preview personalised products?
Yes. The designer shows a live preview, and an approval step before production can be added.
Can gifts be shipped without the invoice?
Yes. When shipping to a different address, the invoice goes to the buyer and no price appears in the package.
