İkizce is a small riverside town in Ordu, split in two by the Akçay River. Terme in Samsun Province lies to the west, Akkuş to the south and Çaybaşı to the east, and regular buses connect it with Ünye. Known as Laleli until 1957, it is a hazelnut-growing district with chestnut, hornbeam and oak woods, a weekly Tuesday market and lesser-known heritage such as the Old Mosque with tulip motifs, Şahinkaya rock and the Keriş Bridge.
