Kulp is a forested, mountainous district in north-eastern Diyarbakır, cut by deep valleys of the Kulp, Sarım and Sorkan streams and once on the caravan route between Diyarbakır and Muş. Livestock, forestry, walnuts, grapes and especially beekeeping shape its economy, and Kulp is known for its honey. Silkworm rearing on mulberry trees is a traditional craft.
Racoun is based in Ataşehir, Istanbul, and has no office in Kulp.
