Private Tutor Website
A trustworthy website for private tutors that turns parent referrals into trial lesson requests and local visibility.
Private tutoring runs on trust. Even when a parent hears about you from a friend, they usually search your name before calling. A clear, fast website is where that check happens. At Racoun, an Istanbul agency working since 2012, we build tutor websites on our own custom platform, without ready-made themes or rented packages.
How families search for tutors
Searches combine subject, level and location: “8th grade maths tutor in Ataşehir”, “online physics tutor for high school”, “English conversation lessons one to one”. Demand peaks at the start of terms, before report cards and in the final months before national exams. Parents want to know your method and how progress is tracked; students want to know how lessons feel.
What we build
- Subject and level pages explaining scope, lesson flow and who each lesson suits
- A trial lesson request form filled in by the parent, with a KVKK-compliant privacy notice
- A simple weekly availability calendar and fixed WhatsApp and call buttons on mobile
- A password-protected area for worksheets and homework
Local visibility and honest reviews
We set up your Google Business Profile as a service-area business, so you can appear on maps without showing your home address. We encourage genuine reviews from satisfied families and never fake ones. Instead of dozens of near-identical district pages, we describe your service areas honestly on one page and offer online lessons for other districts.
Measured language
We avoid guaranteed-result promises and focus on your working routine, follow-up and communication with parents. If you plan to grow into a licensed course centre, we recommend getting legal and administrative advice.
Your site is delivered with an easy admin panel, technical SEO and mobile optimisation. The first meeting is free.
Frequently asked questions
Can I appear on Google Maps without showing my home address?
Yes. A Google Business Profile can be set up as a service-area business that only shows the districts you serve.
Do I need to publish my lesson fees?
No. Many tutors share fees during the first call; the site can explain lesson length, weekly routine and cancellation rules instead.
