A business email address carries your company’s own domain, for example name@yourcompany.com. It builds trust, keeps mailboxes under company control and makes impersonation harder.
- Step 1: register a domain in the company’s name.
- Step 2: list how many users, shared mailboxes and features you need.
- Step 3: choose a service type: hosting-based email, a cloud suite such as Microsoft 365, or a private or local cloud server.
- Step 4: configure DNS records: MX for incoming mail, plus SPF, DKIM and DMARC for authentication.
- Step 5: create mailboxes, enable multi-factor authentication and test delivery.
