To publish a mobile app you need a paid developer account with Apple (Apple Developer Program) and Google (Play Console), registered either as an individual or an organisation.
- Prepare: app name and description, icon, screenshots, privacy policy, data disclosures, content rating answers, support contact and a demo login for reviewers.
- App Store: create the app record, upload a signed build, beta test with TestFlight, complete privacy details and submit for review.
- Google Play: complete app content declarations, use internal, closed or open testing tracks, upload a signed app bundle and submit.
Common rejection reasons include missing privacy information, crashes, no reviewer login, minimal functionality and no in-app account deletion. Store rules change, so check current guidelines before launch. Racoun handles store publishing for the apps it builds, with accounts set up in the client’s own name.
