Year-end is the busiest and most critical period for promotional products and corporate gift companies. Orders crowd into a short window, stretching production, sourcing and printing capacity. This guide treats the season as a campaign project.
Start with backward planning: begin from the date clients want gifts delivered, then subtract shipping, production, proof approval, sourcing and the client’s internal approval time to define final quote and campaign start dates. Use these dates consistently on your website, in emails and in quotes.
Prepare purpose-based collections, such as gifts for all employees, VIP sets, kits for remote teams and sustainable selections, and confirm stock with suppliers early, assigning alternatives for each item. Update last year’s collection page at the same URL so it keeps its visibility, and show order deadlines, print methods, quote basket buttons and delivery options clearly.
Split advertising into three phases: early planners, peak season and deadline reminders, and send emails only to recipients with valid commercial messaging consent. Prepare the sales team with quote templates and response time targets, and contact last year’s clients personally. After the season, review collections, stock issues, lead sources and response times to build a template for holiday and trade fair seasons.
