Travel agencies often start marketing when demand arrives, but in tourism demand forms months before purchase. This guide splits the year into four phases. In the preparation phase, publish permanent tour pages and destination guides, and collect last season’s photos and videos with guest consent. In the early booking phase, lead with trust rather than discounts: licence details, cancellation terms, payment options and real images. Holiday periods need ready landing pages with clear departure dates and remaining capacity, supported by search ads and short videos. While tours are running, give guides a simple shot list so next season’s content is captured in the field. For last-minute availability, keep capacity information up to date, reply quickly on WhatsApp and retarget visitors who already viewed the tour. At season end, record which tours converted, which channels produced inquiries and which departures filled early. Ask guests for genuine reviews after they return, never buy fake ones, and keep a separate plan for corporate and incentive trips, whose decision makers budget well in advance.
