Wholesale products for an online store can come from several sources:
- Manufacturers, for better terms and private-label options, usually with higher minimum orders.
- Authorised distributors and wholesalers, important for branded products that marketplaces may ask you to document.
- Wholesale districts such as those in Istanbul, trade fairs and B2B wholesale platforms.
- Contract manufacturing under your own brand, or direct imports with a customs broker.
- Drop shipping, where the supplier ships directly to the customer.
Always buy with invoices, test samples, check minimum orders, lead times, product certificates and brand authorisation, and keep alternative suppliers. Racoun does not supply products but builds the store, brand and packaging and can import supplier data via XML or ERP integration.
Treat suppliers as long-term partners and ask for product data feeds to keep stock in sync.
