E-commerce for hardware stores and builders’ merchants
Online stores for hardware retailers with technical filters, trade accounts and local delivery.
Two customers, one store
Hardware stores serve two very different buyers. Homeowners search with a problem in mind, such as a loose cabinet hinge or the right wall plug for concrete. Tradespeople know exactly what they need and search by stock code or standard, such as DIN 912 M8x40. Local intent is strong too: people look for a hardware shop nearby that is open now.
Racoun, an Istanbul brand agency active in Ataşehir since 2012, builds hardware stores on its own custom platform, without templates or monthly licences, and delivers them with a management panel.
What we build
- Technical filters: diameter, length, thread, material, standard, voltage and tip type, defined per product group.
- Quick order screen: search by stock code, enter quantities, repeat previous orders.
- Trade accounts: approved business accounts with their own price lists and account-based payment, or a full B2B dealer portal.
- Unit, pack and carton sales with automatic unit pricing.
- Compatibility links between tools, batteries and spare parts.
- Local delivery zones by district, plus click and collect.
- ERP, e-invoice, virtual POS and shipping integrations.
Local visibility
Clear technical drawings and box contents, such as whether a battery or charger is included, reduce wrong orders and returns.
We optimise your Google Business Profile, encourage genuine reviews, keep WhatsApp and phone buttons visible and explain delivery areas honestly on one page rather than duplicating district pages. Shopping and local campaigns run with no media commission. A typical build takes 5 to 10 weeks, and the first meeting is free.
