A Google Ads account is suspended when Google believes a policy has been seriously or repeatedly violated. This differs from a single ad disapproval: during suspension all ads stop.
- Common causes: suspicious payment activity, unpaid balance, circumventing systems (for example opening new accounts after a suspension or cloaking), unacceptable business practices or misrepresentation, incomplete advertiser verification, restricted content and compromised websites.
- What to do: read the notice, review the relevant policy, genuinely fix the issue, prepare supporting documents, submit an appeal through the account and do not open a new account while waiting.
- Prevention: keep payment profile details identical to official records, show clear contact details and legal pages, avoid unverifiable claims and keep the site secure.
Regulated sectors should also follow local rules and seek legal advice. Racoun reviews the cause, site and payment profile with you and prepares a well-grounded appeal.
